Meg is a farm kid that worked her way up to finishing top of her class at University of Waterloo Honours Biology Co-op, working in research labs at four universities and being first-authored published before leaving undergrad. She earned being named one of the Top 24 science and engineering students in Canada, followed up by earning the top PhD scholarship in Canada. She chose to complete a PhD specialized in biochemistry, genetics and physiology at Western University (graduating 2016) and still lives in London. You may also cross paths with her around a soccer pitch, as a competitive premier goalie with London Whitecaps who has played in four nationals representing Ontario and senior competitive certified coach that coaches multiple U18 teams.

While in her PhD, she found she loved the creativity in teaching even more than the research, and had built a career teaching university level and MCAT prep courses with over 20 000 students taught to date. Meg is known for her easy-going nature and engaging sessions, building bridges between subjects so that students can apply ideas and problem solve when facing new material. She tailors her teaching style to suit each person, finding their unique learning style and uncovering where gaps in knowledge exist. As a fulltime educator for more than a decade, Meg has now privately tutored students in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, organic chemistry and physiology across Canada, the US and England...and looks forward to meeting you:)
