Mahshid holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney and has a strong background in engineering, research, and education. She has worked with learners across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and learning abilities, and enjoys making challenging concepts easier to understand. She prides herself in her ability to foster confidence in her students, while and keeping them interested in what they are learning.

As an educator, Mahshid specializes in Mathematics and Chemistry, with experience supporting students from late high school through university. She has tutored university-level Chemistry and Mathematics courses, as well as high school and AP-level subjects. Her approach focuses on building a strong understanding of the fundamentals, rather than simply memorizing formulas or procedures.
